From full time job seeker to an aspiring entrepreneur

A brief story

My name is Luis, and I am a job seeker just like you. I've experienced the pain and frustration of online job applications firsthand.

That's why I embarked on a mission to make it easier for job seekers like us. After pitching my idea to VentureLab, I was selected for a business creation course. Since then, I’ve been listening and talking to other job seekers, students and professionals, passive and active internship / job seekers and I discovered that I wasn't alone in my struggle.

Many job seekers are facing the same challenges with online applications. So, I imagined Speedy-A —a platform designed to tackle these problems head-on.

No more endless clicks, redundant data entry, or unanswered applications without any valuable feedback for the applicant.

Speedy-A streamlines the process, saving you time and energy. As a fellow job seeker and empathetic soul, I feel and understand the pressure to provide for your family and prove yourself.

Speedy-A is here to help, to give you the opportunity and support you deserve. Together, let's break free from the constraints of traditional online job applications. Let's find a new way—a better way—to navigate the job market with confidence and care.

The Problem

Have you ever been a job seeker? Do you remember how did you feel in those days?

The problem job seekers are observing about Online Job Applications (OJA) has many characteristics depending on every applicant. However, in our conversations with many of them, I've found out that they all coincide on these ones:

They are long, time consuming, difficult to finish, have a lot of clicks, you have to enter data that is already in the CV that is uploaded, create an account and password, answer same questions more than once, no reply, among others.

These ones were the triggers that turned on my emotions to act, they kicked off my curiosity and creativity, fueled already by the pain of being unemployed and being a job seeker, a father, a husband, an immigrant.

This painful situation and the pressure to provide to your family, feeling desperate to show results to prove to yourself, the many inner voices pulling you to go in all directions, made me see an opportunity  that might be worth a while to remove a bit or totally of these constraints,  a new way to help job seekers with something that matters to them like a decent job application, appreciation and care.

How the problem we aim to solve is featured on the media since the invention of the internet. This is only a tiny prove of our search.
